Biography

Veena Sood is an award-winning actress of East Indian descent, and is internationally recognized for her versatility in both comedy and drama. She enjoys dual citizenship between Canada & the U.K. and has performed in numerous film, television & theatre productions in both countries.

By age 20 she had obtained her B.F.A. in Drama at The University of Calgary with Improv master Keith Johnstone, and went on to co-found & develop The Loose Moose Theatre Company, known the world over for their improvisational theatre.

A veteran of stage, film and TV, Veena can be seen in numerous films & television shows, as well as performing in The Life Game improvised show, of which she is the co-artistic director.
