THE LIFE GAME (developed by Keith Johnstone) is a full scale theatrical event. It is a staged biography of a Guest’s life as seen through their eyes, and told through the improvisational acting skills of the actors. The pre-selected (& completely willing Guest), is asked questions about his or her life.

Memories of schoolroom humiliations. What did God look like when you were young? When was your first kiss and with whom? What is the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?

The show takes the bare bones of a Guest’s life story, and then transforms that information, then and there, into a magical piece of theatre.

THE LIFE GAME is a show that reminds that all of us, however ordinary, that we all have quite an extraordinary life story to tell.

Classes in IMPROVISATION are available on a weekly basis in the Vancouver, Canada area as well as out of town workshops.

These are the unorthodox techniques used in all of Veena’s improvisation workshops to open students’ imagination and spontaneity.

There is no pressure to be "funny" but rather, the focus is on narrative, storytelling skills & spontaneity. The exercises free the mind; actors get energized, and use their imagination to suddenly invent stories without any effort.

Comedy will be the inevitable (and hilarious) by-product.
