Veena co-founded & developed the improvisation companies Loose Moose Theatre Company™ (Calgary, Canada) and The Improv Centre (formerly known as The Vancouver TheatreSports League).

She is a 40-year veteran of performing Improv and teaching of Improv, along with her work in scripted plays.

Veena's been a featured performer at many theatre festivals including The Glasgow Comedy Festival, The Vancouver Comedy Festival, and The Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Veena is the former Co-Artistic director of Vancouver’s improvised show The Life Game©, created by Keith Johnstone.

Veena is a 3 x time Jessie Richardson nominee, A 2x UBCP Award acting nominee, and has won both Jessie and Leo Awards for her acting work.
